Workshops
A Bushcam Consulting workshop will typically be structured in one of two
ways:
- A few hours of interactive instruction, typically at a place of work.
Jeremy gives an audio-visual presentation coving much of the theory
behind camera-trapping. He also brings a wide variety of cameras and
accessories to demonstrate. Participants therefore have the opportunity
to experience the cameras first hand and to see what type of images
they produce.
- Longer ‘weekend’ workshops. These will have both a theoretical
component, as above, as well as a real camera-trapping experience in
the field. These are a lot of fun and are held on a wildlife reserve where
the participants will gain experience in setting up a variety of cameras
themselves. The real benefit of this type of learning is that everyone gets
to learn some real ‘tricks of the trade’ as well as spending time in the
bush. This format also works well for corporate team-building weekends.
If these two formats don’t suit you then we will happily tailor-make something
else. Our only requirements are that you should learn from the experience and
have fun!
